i am looking for my dentist to give me a crown or a bridge in mouth

Can i have dental treatment if i have a metal heart valve in?
Yes, there is antibiotics that you should take about a week before you go to the dentist for the procedure.. call the dentist office first
Reply:That is something you need to ask a dentist, but they will probably tell you yes but prescibe antibotics before the procedure.
Reply:Duh!!! Of course you can...I mean you can't go forever without having Dental work done and a Doctor is not going to put something in you that will prevet you from having dental work done.

p.s. How long has it been since you went to the dentist????
Reply:Yes, but you probably need to temporarily stop some of the medications you're now taking and take some preventative antibiotics before the procedure. You should consult with your cardiologist before you go to the dentist, and maybe have them consult with each other.
