Yes, Cosmetic Dentistry can straighten teeth. I have had 2 crowns placed in my mouth. One because my front tooth died and started turning gray, and the tooth next to it because it overlapped it. It is now straight. The crowns are all porcelain, because a metal base in a front tooth makes it look fake and I never recommend those to my patients. If his bite is not bad and the only reason you were going to get braces was for the over jet, then do the cosmetic route, if his bite is not good then I would say go for the braces first and maybe look into an Implant to replace the missing tooth. This would prevent you from having to crown 3 virgin teeth just to put a bridge in.
Reply:These are all questions for the orthodontist or dentist; not us. Do you really want to go with the recommendations of a bunch of strangers whose qualifications are highly questionable?
